What is the roadmap to become a cybersecurity analyst?
From what I’ve seen, getting into a cybersecurity analyst role really starts with the basics networking, operating systems, and core security ideas. That foundation matters more than people expect. Early on, something like H2K Infosys can give structure, but the real shift happens when you stop just watching and actually try things yourself. Labs, small experiments, even breaking your own setup it all helps. Somewhere in the middle, cyber security training and job placement programs can give direction, but tools like Splunk or Wireshark only click when you use them in messy, real scenarios. Certifications help, sure, but hands-on problem solving is what actually gets you hired.
