How does cybersecurity work step by step in real-world systems?
In real cybersecurity work, you’re basically watching systems all day, trying to catch anything that feels off before it becomes a real issue. In SOC environments, I’ve seen alerts flow into SIEM tools, and honestly most of the work is just filtering noise from real threats. During my learning phase at H2KInfosys, cyber security training with job placement helped connect these situations to actual analyst tasks. You start digging through logs, checking threat intelligence, and slowly piecing together what’s happening. Once something is confirmed as malicious, the response kicks in contain it, fix it, and learn from it for next time.
