Is cybersecurity training worth it in the USA for students and working employees?

Yeah, in my experience, cybersecurity training in the US can absolutely be worth it but only if it’s practical. I’ve seen people go through programs like H2K Infosys and get a solid start, but honestly, what you do outside the course matters just as much.

Spend time with tools like Splunk, Wireshark, even basic Python it adds up
Certs like Security+ or CEH help, but they won’t carry you alone
Somewhere along the way, picking cyber security training with job placement can make that first break easier
Real SOC-style labs? Way more useful than just theory

At the end of the day, consistency beats everything else.
