What tools are used in cybersecurity training?
From what I’ve seen, cybersecurity training goes way beyond just reading concepts it’s very hands-on, almost like working in a real company setup at times, which I noticed in programs like H2K Infosys. You’ll usually run into tools like Wireshark for analyzing traffic, Metasploit for testing weaknesses, and Nessus for scans. Splunk pops up quite a bit too, mainly for logs and monitoring. Then there’s Kali Linux, Burp Suite, plus cloud labs on AWS or Azure. That mix, especially with cyber security training and job placement, makes things click better you’re not just learning, you’re actually doing.
