From my experience in the QA field, the stress level in a QA testing job depends mostly on project deadlines, team support, and company culture. During release cycles or production hotfixes, pressure can be high because testers are the final quality gate. However, outside peak delivery periods, work is usually structured and predictable. Stress increases if requirements change frequently or if communication between developers and QA is weak. Strong automation skills, good test planning, and realistic timelines reduce stress significantly. Many QA professionals manage workload well by using tools like Jira, Selenium, and TestRail. Overall, it is moderately stressful, but far less chaotic than many development or operations roles.
