I used to leave most of my academic work till the last minute, and it always made deadlines feel more stressful than they needed to be, kind of like I was chasing my own tail. This semester, I finally decided to plan ahead by setting weekly goals and breaking larger tasks into smaller sections. It was a simple change, but it made a noticeable difference, especially when I was dealing with coursework assignments that involved research, editing, and that slow, careful planning and you know the kind. I’ve also noticed that staying organized doesn’t just improve the quality of what I turn in, it also gives me extra time to review everything before I submit it. Honestly, it’s a habit I wish I had built earlier instead of waiting and hoping it would all work out.
