So, yes, the search strategies do cover the basics, and a statistic is introduced as part of the data analytics course. H2K Infosys in the USA usually covers it as part of practical. While a good data analytics course online won’t take you too far into heavy math, it will cover concepts such as averages, distributions, correlation, and probability. My impression from what I know is that it is more about understanding the meaning of numbers than memorizing formulas. As a result of this, it becomes easier to use statistics in real-life situations, for example, knowing trends or working with data in a non-technical context.
