Why is cyber security training important for landing entry-level security jobs?
In my experience hiring junior security analysts, structured training is often the factor that turns beginners into job-ready candidates. Platforms like H2K Infosys and others such as IITWorkforce,Hack The Box Academy focus on hands-on labs, attack simulations, and certification-aligned practice. Around the middle of most learning paths, Cyber security training online exposes learners to SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and incident response workflows employers expect. From what I’ve seen, candidates who practice with real tools like Wireshark or Splunk during training perform far better in entry-level SOC interviews and practical assessments used by hiring teams today across organizations.
