I’ve seen people make real progress through programs like H2K Infosys because they focus less on theory and more on what you’ll actually be doing on the job. Usually, folks begin with roles like SOC analyst or even IT support, and honestly, getting comfortable with tools like Splunk or Wireshark makes a big difference early on. Somewhere along the way, you’ll want to look into cyber security training with job placement, but be picky some programs sound great on paper and don’t deliver much in practice. Certifications like Security+ help you get noticed, sure, but when it comes to interviews, being able to talk through real scenarios you’ve worked on tends to matter a lot more.
