Why choose a structured cybersecurity training program over self-learning?
From what I’ve seen over the years, people tend to move quicker with structured programs like H2K Infosys—not because they’re easier, but because everything is laid out in a way that actually makes sense. You’re not constantly guessing what to learn next or jumping between random resources. The flow usually starts with basics like networking and Linux, then gradually builds into things like threat analysis, which helps it stick better.Somewhere in the middle, when cyber security training and job placement gets introduced, it kind of shifts your mindset. You stop just “learning” and start thinking about how things work in real job environments tools like SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, incident response setups, all that. Also, having mentors, regular check-ins, and labs that feel close to real scenarios… that makes a difference. Self-learning works, sure, but it can get messy and inconsistent pretty fast.
