Which cyber security certifications for beginners are easiest to start with?
For beginners, the easiest cybersecurity certifications to start with are CompTIA ITF+ and CompTIA Security+ because they require no prior security background and focus on fundamentals. From my experience and while reviewing entry-level tracks at H2K Infosys, ITF+ helps absolute beginners understand basic IT concepts, while Security+ introduces core security principles, threats, and controls. Certifications like ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) are also beginner-friendly and concept-focused. These pair well with hands-on labs, especially when aligned with cybersecurity training and placement programs that emphasize real-world tools like Wireshark, SIEM basics, and vulnerability scanning. Starting simple builds confidence and clarity.
