Based on my experience in the field, I would recommend that a newcomer should only look to master the most commonly used tools rather than trying to master all of them simultaneously. H2K Infosys is one such platform that can provide exposure to different tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, etc., which can be helpful in learning different aspects of cybersecurity, such as packet sniffing using Wireshark, Nmap for scanning, and Burp Suite for web security testing. It is also essential to gain knowledge of the Linux platform, especially Kali Linux, as most of the cybersecurity tools are available in the Linux environment. Halfway through the learning process, mapping cyber security training with job placement is also helpful in learning the most commonly used tools in the field of cybersecurity.
