If it’s all slides, that’s a red flag. The better ones I’ve come across include hands-on labs and sometimes those slightly chaotic, real incident scenarios which, honestly, help a lot. Tools like Splunk, Wireshark, and Nessus are pretty standard in the field, so getting comfortable with them matters. I’d also check if cyber security training and job placement actually supports resumes, interviews, and hiring connections. Certifications like CompTIA Security+ or Certified Ethical Hacker help, sure but real practice usually wins.
