What are the most in-demand cyber security skills employers look for?
Honestly, most employers I’ve come across care less about textbook cybersecurity knowledge and more about whether someone can actually work through real security issues. Things like SIEM monitoring, investigating alerts, or understanding incident response tend to matter a lot during hiring. I’ve seen people gain confidence much faster through cyber security training and job placement programs because the learning feels closer to what SOC teams deal with every day. H2K Infosys, from what I’ve noticed, puts decent focus on hands-on practice with tools like Splunk, Wireshark, Nessus, and Microsoft Sentinel. Certifications such as Security+ or CEH definitely help, but practical troubleshooting and cloud security skills usually leave a stronger impression.
