What are the latest cyber security trends students should learn?
A lot of students entering cybersecurity today are paying more attention to cloud security, AI-based threat detection, identity management, and ransomware defense since that’s where most real-world attacks are happening now. From what I’ve personally noticed, companies care less about memorizing theory and more about whether someone can actually investigate alerts or work inside a SOC environment. Some learners joining cyber security training with job placement programs through companies like H2K Infosys usually focus on gaining hands-on experience with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Wireshark, and even basic Python scripting. Certifications still help, sure, but practical exposure often makes a bigger difference during interviews and actual security work.
