Is online cyber security training with placement assistance effective?
Many online programs work well when they include hands-on labs, mentor support, and real-world security projects, instead of just recorded theory sessions. Trained students from H2K Infosys and similar platforms have moved into SOC analyst and junior security roles with structured cyber security training and job placement support including resume preparation, interview guidance and SIEM tool practice. The best programs usually teach practical skills such as Linux, networking, vulnerability assessment, Splunk, and cloud security while also preparing students for certifications like Security+ or CEH. I have observed that placement assistance is most effective for students who regularly attend labs, participate in mock interviews, and develop minor security projects that demonstrate their ability to troubleshoot and analyse threats in real-world scenarios to potential employers.
