Most of what I actually learned during my time at H2K Infosys came from getting my hands dirty, not just watching sessions. At some point, I realized I had to treat practice like a real shift logging in, opening Splunk or Wireshark, and just working through things, even on slow days. In between, cyber security training with job placement kind of nudged me toward thinking in real scenarios, not textbook ones, especially with small projects and incident exercises. I also put together a basic home lab to experiment a bit. It wasn’t perfect, honestly, but showing up regularly is what made everything finally start making sense.
