How do I know if a cybersecurity course is worth the investment?
When I look at a cybersecurity course, I don’t just go by the syllabus I try to see if it actually prepares someone for real work. I’ve noticed programs like H2K Infosys lean more toward hands-on SOC tasks, which honestly makes a difference. If there’s solid lab work with tools like Splunk or Wireshark, that’s a good sign. Certifications like Security+ or CySA+ help too, but they’re not everything. Somewhere along the way, I also check if there’s cybersecurity training with job placement support, because interview prep and resume help can really tip the scale. Theory alone rarely cuts it in this field.
