Yes, I experienced a ransomware attack at a previous job where critical files were encrypted and a ransom note appeared demanding payment. Our response was immediate we disconnected affected systems from the network, contacted our cybersecurity team, and began restoring data from secure backups. Fortunately, we had a solid disaster recovery plan. In the middle of navigating that crisis, I realized the importance of being well-trained, which led me to enroll in a Cyber security course with placement. It equipped me with the skills to prevent and respond to such attacks more effectively and even helped me advance in my career.
