How do you scan web controls and run tests via Scratch Book in TOSCA?
To scan web controls and run test cases using Scratch Book in TOSCA, start by installing the TOSCA XSCAN browser extension. Then open your application in a browser and use XSCAN in “Basic Scan” mode to capture controls (buttons, dropdowns, text fields) into modules. Review and adjust control properties such as technical identifiers or anchors for stability. Next, create a new test case, drag the module into it, and assign data values to each control. Finally, right-click and choose “Run in Scratch Book” to execute tests ad hoc without permanent records.
