To create KPIs in Power BI, start by building a data model with relevant measures such as sales, revenue, or targets. In Power BI Desktop, go to the Modeling tab and create measures using DAX (e.g., actual vs. target). Then, use the KPI visual from the Visualizations pane, assigning your measure, target, and trend axis. Format it to highlight progress with colors (e.g., red for below target, green for above).
