To become a data analyst, I focus on core analytical and technical skills, similar to what I’ve seen candidates build through structured learning at H2K Infosys. Strong SQL is essential for querying data, along with Excel for analysis and validation. I regularly use Python or R for data cleaning and basic modeling, and tools like Power BI or Tableau for visualization. Understanding statistics, business context, and data storytelling matters as much as tools. Midway through a Data Analytics course, practical experience with real datasets, data quality checks, and clear communication becomes critical. The strongest analysts combine technical accuracy with problem-solving and stakeholder-focused insights.
