As a cybersecurity student, I realized that practical projects matter more than just theory. During my training at H2kinfosys, I worked on real-time lab projects that helped me understand industry expectations. I recommend adding projects like vulnerability assessment using Nessus, penetration testing with Kali Linux, SIEM log analysis, incident response simulations, and basic firewall configuration. Also, include a mini SOC analyst project if possible. While doing my Cyber security course with placement, I learned how to document findings professionally. These hands-on projects clearly show recruiters that you have practical skills and are job-ready, not just certification knowledge.
