What is cyber security and why is it important in today’s digital world?
Cyber security is the practice of protecting systems, networks, and data from digital attacks, and in my experience at H2K Infosys it is critical because breaches now affect finance, healthcare, and everyday online services. It matters because threats like ransomware, phishing, and data theft directly impact business continuity and personal privacy. Strong security reduces financial loss, downtime, and legal risk while building user trust. From hands-on work, organizations need skilled professionals, which is why cyber security training and job placement have become important for workforce readiness. Effective security combines technology, processes, and awareness, not just tools or compliance checklists alone.
