Is hands-on cybersecurity training better than theoretical courses?
From what I have seen, hands-on learning in the field of cyber security tends to be more productive than learning the theory of the subject, as this helps develop the skills that are actually required in the field; H2K Infosys has been seen to implement this with their ‘labs’ simulating the environment of a SOC. Halfway through the learning process, cyber security training with job placement is also important, as this helps in matching the skills with the needs of the employer. While the theory of the subject is important, employers are looking for the ability to apply the knowledge in the field of cyber security.
