If you’re aiming for data analytics roles in the US, you’ll want to get really comfortable with SQL, Excel, and at least one visualization tool Tableau or Power BI, either works. Stats helps more than people expect, and having some basic Python in your toolkit doesn’t hurt at all. One thing that often gets overlooked is communication. You might have great insights, but if you can’t explain them clearly, it gets tricky. A lot of people pick this up through Data analyst online classes I’ve seen programs like H2K Infosys lean more into real-world projects, which honestly makes the shift into actual job work feel a bit less overwhelming.
