Certifications do help when you’re trying to get into data roles in the USA, no doubt but they’re not everything. Most recruiters treat them as proof that you’ve covered the basics, especially if you’ve done something like the Google data analytics course. That said, what really makes a difference is how well you can actually use those skills in real situations. Projects, problem-solving, even small things they add up. I’ve also come across people mentioning H2K Infosys for the kind of hands-on exposure they got, which apparently helped during interviews. So yeah, certifications matter… just not on their own.
